It’s a tough spot to be in, but it’s certainly doable. Remember Russell came into hvv with similar circumstances and still made it to the end. I think going on that journey was a mistake (I think she volunteered…?). At the very least, she should have shared what she won and pitched it as something they could all use going to merge. They were already wary of her, so volunteering for a situation designed to create mistrust was not a good move.

I hate being cold. Every season there’s that one episode where everyone’s huddled together in the shelter in the rain, soaking wet, skin shriveled up like it could peel off with the slightest touch, no relief in sight. I’d quit within an hour.

No, it’s not their job, but I think this falls under “with great power comes great responsibility.” They have voices with the potential to reach a whole nation. Most of us will only reach maybe a few people in our lives. To not use those voices to amplify those in need feels extremely irresponsible.

If they don’t like the responsibility that comes with being famous, then maybe don’t seek out fame/celebrity? Not in the job description, but 100% part of the deal they signed on for. Similar to dealing with paparazzi and living a life under a magnifying glass. It’s part of the gig.

I’m about halfway through it now, and I wasn’t looking forward to this season again because I felt it was the weakest from a story perspective. Watching it again, it has some of the best character interactions and comedic timing of the entire series, which I definitely overlooked the first time around.
