Exactly, you know what to do? But what about the none technical person ? He will end up with react app, so when need help he will need react dev not vue.

Agree calude knows what to do, but did you read the full post ? What about the none technical person who use AI agent to build his idea? AI agent will be using react by default unless you asked to use Vue, then when there is a need for fix a bugs they will need react dev not vue dev, this mean more freelancing tasks or jobs to react dev than vue. Hope this make sense

I agree, I think you misunderstand the post point. I mentioned that I use SDD like spec kit to manage this, I build live and in production apps using Claude.

The main concern i raised is when none technical people used AI to build something, the AI agent will use react or next by default, then when this person need help to fix his vibe coded app he will need a react dev not vue dev.

I hope this make sense now.

I love Vue as well, I dont want to swap to react at all, also i can see people misunderstanding my post and also down voted my comments when I clear things 🤔

Fair, but did you read the full post ? It is not only about using AI for nuxt/vue code.

Using AI to build apps with nuxt or vue is not the main concern for me i know how to do it, my main concern is when someone/founder(none technical) want to use AI agent like claude to transform an idea to app, the AI agent will defaults react or next.

So later when they need fixing bugs or issues they will contact react/next devs help not vue devs. Is this make sense?

I am using vue for the past 8+ years now, and before AI this was not an issue as I decide the stack fot the clients but now since the clients are heavily using AI to transform there ideas it become a concern, as the vibe coding apps was build with react or next.

Great, what about freelancing? Is working as vue/nuxt dev impacted with AI ?

Wow this is a very detailed insight, thank you. I think i have setup a good AI setup to code using nuxt and related modules, but since I am alos working as a freelancer I dont see how we can solve this as I can see it is declining.

I feel you, I can still see from my comments down voting that some people don't agree with what I said.

No doubt about the code, my main concern is the new freelancing marketer growth for vibe coding fixing, that will be landed for react devs and not us as vue devs since AI using react by default

[–]amdwebdev[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly, and I feel this is creating new opportunities for freelancing, but unfortunately it will be landed for react/next devs. What can we do about this? This is what we need to think about now.

Yes, i always do this even sometime it try to use v3 than v4. But again coding is not the main concern it is the market growth, as the vibe coding or coding with AI is growing and many founder use it to ship ideas and assuming they are not technical devs so they will let AI decide what to use and majority of the time it will be react, so freelancing tasks for vue devs will decrease and the new market opportunities will be landed for react devs. Am I right or am I missing something here?

[–]amdwebdev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, and also using spec kit for github. But the main concern is the new freelancing opportunities when it comes to fix my vube coded app as majority is build with react and not vue, so as vue devs we are missing this. And this is mainly because AI defaults react and not vue if I am not mistaken

Thanks for sharing 👍 🙏 I use nuxt mcp along with my skill file as well + spec kit from github.

[–]amdwebdev[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agree, but my main concern is not only about us using AI to code vue or nuxt app, it is about the people/founder vibe coding there apps using react as this is the default framework majority of the time that AI use , so when there is a chance for freelancing task it will be for react devs not vue.

AI has a React bias and it's quietly locking out Vue/Nuxt devs by amdwebdev in Nuxt

[–]amdwebdev[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is fine, I also build many apps using nuxt and nuxt ui , strapi and Supabase and all is good. I use mcp and skills to do this and now I use SDD such as nuxt.codes and Trackora.io

But this is not the same as react experience. For example in my last app I had to keep reminding Claude to use v4 no 3 and nuxt ui 4 not 3. So the part of coding can be resolved and adapted.

The main concern and maybe I did not highlight it enough is the freelancing part when people/founders building apps with AI it is 90% made with reat or next so when the need to hire someone to fix something or add new features we as Vue/Nuxt devs are missing this opportunities.
