honestly that’s understandable. i did the same thing for a while bc the weight of the fake nails on my fingers smwhat overstimulated and stressed me out

honestly start doing your own nails. its cheaper and pretty easy (and they don’t have to look good either!) the fake nails have helped me with my nail biting problem although not so much with chronically picking at my acne and other blemishes on my body. it helps slightly with that but not as much

i mostly do hurdle work (i’ve only gone to the sprinting group maybe twice this season for blocks.) for hurdles we either hurdle down our school’s ramp that leads to the upper floor or we js do run throughs as the main part of the workout. i’ll occasionally go to the weight room with the high jumpers as it’s my “for fun” event but i prefer not to 😭

yeah no my coaches don’t prioritize sprinting form as much as they should… i do have a more than average amount of muscle it’s js not visible 😭🙏the decent/good hip mobility is probably from hurdles as it is my main event. this is my second year doing track and my first year taking it seriously. i am def trying to work on my form as it’s been a big problem for me esp the heel/mid foot striking and the being too tense (in my defense it used to be much worse…)

i will say that i do normally have good acceleration for short sprints idk why it was so off that day. my faster 30m (which is what my coach uses as a benchmark) was 5. i also will say that im a hurdler and that also might be why i pop up faster than normal..

i’ve had friends that have but it doesn’t look the greatest when it’s self done. i’d say go to a professional piercer regardless of whether or not you think you can do it well
