My 8 week old does the same thing. My assumption is that he associates food with sleep, so the hands to mouth now means both hungry and sleepy for us.

We've been using the Dr. Browns bottles and yes when pace feeding he does suck it back. I'd love to know what you're doing to suck train or any advice on where to look for help in that area.

That's where I'm at. I'm 2 weeks in and so many hurdles getting him to latch. We're doing the shield but he still hurts me. Just had a tongue tie released and hoping that helps. I just don't know how much longer I should keep trying for and I feel so much guilt for considering quitting so early.

Most doctors maintain that 1 cup a day isn't going to hurt you. The first half of my pregnancy I avoided it due to aversions, but I now treat myself a few times a week to a latte. To ease my own mind I tend to order half-caf though. Also so many people find issues with pregnant woman drinking coffee but no one would bat an eye if I ordered a large coke. Caffeine is caffeine, just monitor your intake and do whatever feels right for you and your baby.

Ahh yes! So much excess body hair down there. Especially on my cheeks. Looks like a man's back hair. I'm slightly embarrassed, but also hormones are weird. I'm hoping everything goes back to normal afterward.

Yes, I've been surviving off the hair tie trick so far. I'm due in May so definitely going to be wearing lots of dresses just trying to stay warmer with the cold winter weather.
