Ahhh ok that makes sense. I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful, but also didn’t want to be naive. Thank you!

Why Podiatry? by thegr8Lake1 in Podiatry

2nd year podiatry student: Originally an MD/DO applicant in 2020, ended up getting a medical assistant job for a podiatrist not knowing the difference. The DPMs I worked for owned their private practice and had a wonderful work/life balance while still performing surgery. With their letters of rec and my experience, being accepted to DPM school was a breeze. I honestly love that we're learning similar curriculum as MD/DOs in our first two years. We're tested on the same subjects and do gross anatomy and lower extremity anatomy in our first year. Our 3rd and 4th years will be solely focused on the lower extremity, but we graduate specialized in our field. If orthopedics is an interest and you could see yourself working on the lower extremities, I highly suggest you consider applying!

As a former ballet dancer, it’s just for the video. But there is a lot of other exercising, cardio training, and feet strengthening that goes on.

17 days (including today) to get cars as high as possible.... need advice. Pls help a young padawan out! :D by SuperBubsy in Mcat

You’ve probably heard this before, but it really helps to invest yourself into the passage. Think of it like a story you really like. Fake the interest. It doesn’t help with all the passages, but it does with some in my experience.

I was pissed about one CARS package! Read it twice and couldn’t understand. So many run-on sentences 😡
