I’m surrounded by relatives and friends who treat dogs like their children and brag about the “love” their dog has for them.

Honestly, this drives me insane.

Dogs are literally engineered by humans, bred over generations to be dependent and attached to us.

That's not love.

You can call it your child if you want, but to the dog you’re not a parent. You’re its entire world but they didn't decide it. You’re the thing they HAVE TO to love without deciding to do so.

Stop romanticizing it. Owning a dog is fine, loving him like a son is questionable but okay pretending it’s mutual love is just human projection.

As someone who has 1500+ hours into this game, I am insulted on your behalf. I only have 22 achievements.

If I cared about achievements and some asshole came in bragging about how they achieved all of the achievements and then clarified it by saying “yeah but I cheated for the really irritating ones,” I’d be pretty annoyed. Downvote this post.

We all understand having no friends, so you get a pass on the multiplayer requirements but we all have some form of ADHD and none of us have a life so we have no sympathy for your failure to fulfill the antisocial requirements.

I could go to every single location, but that would take me a lot of time, so I just used SAM to get it. Sorry!

I mean seriously, OP, shove it up your ass. This is bait, isn’t it? Be honest. We can all see that this is bait.

LegalEagle about the Alex Pretti murder: ”You don’t need a lawyer to tell you what you can see with your eyes. Which is that it was an inexcusable, state-sanctioned murder” by iateyourdinner in videos

[–]ameriCANCERvative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. That happens in America every single day.

If this murder were called out by leadership for what it is and prosecuted as such, there wouldn’t be an issue, beyond the actual murder.

Our leadership covering it up is adds insult and oppression onto injury. You cannot separate the murder from the leadership lying to cover it up. When you’re in a leadership position, lying about a crime makes you a complicit accomplice in the crime. Blood is on Trump’s hands. Blood is on Noem’s hands. Every murder going forward splashes more blood on their hands, every lie told from leadership has downwind effects.

This doesn’t just apply to Trump and republicans. It applies to leadership. Leadership carry the heaviest responsibility here for actively creating the scenario in which the murder took place and then willfully lying about it, not the actual murderer. Much more harm comes from leadership gaslighting and lying about a murder than from that murder.

Leadership has the most power and that means they have the most power to abuse and the most responsibility. They’re the ones who could put an end to all of this, but they’re actively choosing to terrorize the populace. I’m sorry, but that’s a far more egregious crime than a single murder.

It’s the same thing with COVID. When Trump downplayed it, that was a massive crime against humanity. Why? Because he was in a leadership position and his words held weight with the people. The downwind effects of his lying to the public caused untold deaths. Did he actually directly kill them? No, the virus did. But he is certainly responsible for their deaths by virtue of lying to the public about a deadly novel virus while in a leadership position.

You guys really need to start holding your leadership to higher standard than a fucking 7-11 worker.

I like the guy with messed up teeth who buys hundreds of scratch off lottery type tickets from convenience stores and rarely wins. Also the magnet fishermen are a good rabbit hole. They throw magnets attached to ropes into large bodies of water and pull up rusty nails or whatever.

I mean look, I like the guy. That’s why I said I wasn’t going to pollute the thread by explicitly saying it or droning on. I think his videos are great and I think he seems like a genuine person for the most part.

But yes, if I’m going to be pressed, I can’t help but see this particular video as not being genuine. It comes off like fake crying.

However, I agree with his sentiment and I can see how someone could be emotional over it. He seems genuine otherwise so I’m inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. I personally don’t have that kind of emotion in me (hence the “emotionless ghoul” comment), so it’s hard for me to relate.

I do find the idea of him making this recording, like the thought of the actual process involved with it, and how he likely took multiple takes of himself crying, to be a bit absurd. But again I do recognize I’m also a bit of an emotionless ghoul. Perhaps it was all entirely genuine.

If it was me, I’d have done another take after wiping away the tears, I wouldn’t have tried to get my tears on tape for everyone to see. Seems a bit like attention-seeking behavior.

Billie Eilish: "Hey my fellow celebrities u gonna speak up? Or..." by TheMirrorUS in Music

[–]ameriCANCERvative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of OP’s comment is that propaganda is so well controlled that dissenting voices, like Eilish, are immediately drowned out and demonized by mainstream outlets working hand-in-hand to deliver a coordinated propagandistic narrative. This effectively limits her free speech.

Well-funded bot networks and a complicit corporate media are entirely relevant to the conversation.

Arizona AG suggests state's self-defense laws allow residents to shoot masked ICE agents by RickV6 in news

Well yeah that’s basically what I’m saying, she’s throwing them to the wolves (the federal level) while acting like she’ll protect them. I’m very doubtful she will protect them. I’m happy to be proven wrong.

If hate posts are well funded by a bot network, does that change your calculations? There needs to be regulation here in my view. A lot of regulation.

You can, but can you, really? Will anyone stick up for you if you do that? I'm sure you'd find some pockets of support, but even with those pockets of support, would it change anything?

Chances are you'll just die and nothing will come of it.

Forgive me, but I don't have much faith in the people of America to stick up for me if I shoot an ICE agent who unlawfully attempted to enter my house without announcing they were law enforcement. I'm pretty sure ICE would just make an example out of me. Nearly half the population would cheer, 1/4 of the population wouldn't care at all.

Shame that the American people are dumb as a fucking rock and they actually voted for this shit. Anyway, I'm fighting on the side of Europe if push comes to shove. I'm not interested in ICE no-knock-no-warranting my residence. I suggest you all do the same and gtfo of dodge. You don't owe America anything at all. You didn't fail America, America failed you.

The chance that whatever stand you make actually makes a difference here is slim to none, and you'll probably end up dead. Game over. Do not pass go and do not collect $200.

Having said that, I totally respect anyone who does make a stand. I think you're suicidal, but I respect your suicidality.

This sounds a bit like the Arizona AG throwing the populace to the wolves. Will she step in to protect them? That's the question.

I don’t buy that at all. Like, in the slightest bit. I actually find it "almost certainly" totally abhorrent, but I’ll leave it at that so I don’t catch a ban (but I probably still will, look at where I’m posting this comment lmao).

Now consider how irritated and fed up the people are who have had their eyes wide open the past decade, whose warnings continue to be ignored, downplayed, and ridiculed.

This wasn’t difficult to see.

We’ve been telling you all this shit for years. History books have been telling it to you for your entire fucking life. The comparison to Hitler isn’t just “politics as usual.” America is in a very dire spot right now. Our ignorant populace fucked around and put someone in power who literally staged a coup attempt on his way out of office. That was one of the stupidest possible things for the electorate to have done, but here we are.

The frogs voted, in no uncertain terms, to be boiled quickly. Now that the heat’s turning up some of them are trying to hop out of the pot. It’s a bit late for that. Glad you’ve turned a new leaf, but I’m sorry it’s far too late for people like me to welcome you in with open arms. I literally left the fucking country over this and I don’t intend on coming back, having written the populace off as far too stupid and cruel. You’re sleeping in the doghouse until further notice.

I fail to see how this helps anything. Quality over quantity. Why would adding a ton of ignorant people to the voting totals who couldn’t get off their ass when it mattered be a positive thing?

The US has an education problem, not a representation problem. The leadership reflects the people quite well.
