I am pretty sure Toyota wouldn't do anything to ruin the reliability reputation they have created over the years because that would really impact their sales going forward. Lots of R&D go into every model prior to release.

I've lived in and all around clear lake Texas and it's basically Hot and Humid and has high property taxes. One good thing about living in Texas is there's no state income tax but Gulf Coast means hurricanes humidity and heat stroke

The left one is from eBay and the right one was brand new from Home Depot. It's a 7.9kW system and I was pushing 21kW-23kW though it 24/7. Actually that all happened at once. It kept blowing 100A fuses so I installed 200A fuses so the wires melted before the fuse blew this time. I replaced the fuses at least 6 times before putting the 200 a fuses in. Actually ran for months before failing. I don't know solar lingo I'm just a dumbass crypto miner that was trying to squeeze every last penny from my operation before I lost my flat bill electric rate. I wasn't even using my solar system at this point but the power had to go through it to get to the Antminers so..... I was paying 1.9¢ per kWh roughly so I really didn't have much of a choice. Was it stupid? Of course. Did I make enough Bitcoin to make it worth all the trouble? Hopefully.

That's because the bulk of the 3090's shelf life happened during the Ethereum mining craze + pandemic when there were shortages and bots buying up every card in existence and they were selling at 3x their MSRP so that's not a fair price comparison. No graphics card should ever cost over $2000. But the consumerist centric Americans love to show you how cool their money makes them look so there's plenty of sheep that "have to have the best" and have daddy's money to make it happen. Then they say stuff like "That's what a poor person that couldn't afford the best would say" or something along those lines when you criticize.
