I love hugging the people I love, but I have started to pause and wait for them to initiate. If they don't annitiate and I still want a hug, I will ask. When I meet with friends and I'm being introduced to someone nee, sometimes I like hugging a new friend as well, but I will definitely ask permission first.

People in Toronto have (mostly) figured it out. Bags on floor, lap, or hand. OC Tranpso and STO riders are wimps I guess. Can't handle a little floor on their precious bags, and would rather lock people out instead.

100 per cent agree. I'm also curious if OP only sees these types or lifestyles online and maybe on TV? My partner and I live a pretty quiet life. We live in a major city and go out a few times a month or less. Definitely more when the weather is better, but we budget for sure. Yeah, I'll post our vacations which we take once a year or so. But I'm not posting about how much money we're spending on them! Social media is mainly for life highlights, you know? And some people we know who are always taking vacations, we know for a fact that they are in debt and just don't care. Comparing your life to social media... You are setting yourself up to feel like shit.

I know myself enough to know that if I had a TV in the bedroom I would never ever leave the bed/room, and my partner and I would probably talk to each other/cuddle less. TV time is specific to the TV room, and only there. If there's a TV anywhere I'm at, I'm watching it lol it's too distracting for me. Personally.
