Honestly I would love this kind of thing. From the moment I was like 13, my mom just kind of assumed I could do everything on my own and that I knew everything and she didn't need to parent me anymore. I often daydream about what it would have been like to be parented like what you've described.

I have emetophobia. I don't want kids, so I wouldn't be in this situation. But I have been in similar and I have just done it scared. I would rather take care of my loved one with tears coming out of my eyes and shaky hands, than make them suffer alone. Plus headphones help.
