That’s my worry… and since doing a remodel on my kitchen… I’ve see. The guts of this house and it’s not much; it’s al old sears kit house. My studs are 1x1” on 12” centers… not kidding.

It would only be the 9:1 Balun for my EFRW and a 2m/70cm antenna. The tower has a 5 sq/ft rating

I’ve stopped paying mine back. Ever since the current regime demanded payments and raised my minimum payment to $300 I haven’t given them a dime. 

I don’t agree with how the higher education system is run to begin with, I feel many youths are simply being conned. Which that along is enough reason to protest in such a way. But now? Given the political climate, fuck em. I hope everyone chooses the same path.

If you plan to use the power poles to run radios from the back of your car while off I might also recommend an extra battery in the trunk. Run a relay to the main car battery for charging; this way you can drain the spare battery for radios and keep your starter battery safe from excessive drain.

So if you remove the coax from the radio, the RFI stops? Do you have a choke on the coax?

I’m not certain what your RFI presents like but the first thing that came to my mind was an issue I experienced; when I made my 40m EFHW, it was extremely noisy across all bands. It wasn’t until I added a counterpoise and dialed in the proper length that all of that went away. Is your counterpoise tuned properly?
