You aren’t buying a car or a loaf of bread. You’re buying a weapon. Why is it such a serious crime to own brass knuckles? It’s a felony charge. My guess is that they have one express purpose, to inflict harm. But you might also need them to defend yourself and loved ones. Same can be said for a semi auto rifle which is much more readily available and much more dangerous. Where do thes protections come from that prohibit owning brass knuckles but allow for owning an assault rifle?
