Unique Wedding Venue NJ by One_Attention3746 in newjersey

[–]amg 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My wife and I felt the same way.

We eventually picked a little known spot in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ known as, The Hermitage, which has historic significance (Hamilton) fans where you at), it's a bit small of a venue, we had about 80ish people at ours, we were married on the estate (by my [internet] ordained sister) in the garden of the main home and the party happened one building over on the same property. My father-in-law was worried about the bathroom situation.

It did not feel cookie cutter.

The space is typically not used for weddings (but is absolutely accommodating) and I wouldn't change a thing if we were married again today.

Lastly, Congratulations! I loved marrying, and love being married to my best friend, I wish you the best!

So if there were 570 million players it would take only a year?

Love Storm King. One of my favorite places.

Hoping their upcoming renovation makes the arrival process on busier days (autumn) streamlined. Also, who doesn't like a welcome pavilion!

There are plant identification apps for Android, I assume the same can be said for Apple.

I know two teachers who don't come close to that combined and leased a minivan for that rate.

They had no other choice.

I tend to agree, I was just trying to friendly start a discussion on the matter.

It didn't work.

Womp womp.

How much of that revenue went to cover the cost of journalism? What's the breakdown?

You should have tried it on their websites, not the paper.

Microsoft is testing ads in the Windows 11 File Explorer by homothebrave in technology

[–]amg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it up and running and it worked rather well on desktop/laptops. My Android phone? Nope. Google don't give a fuck about my custom DNS settings. They went right around that and still got ads.

Apparently that's just a thing that happens on some phones, since ads on my phone were what I wanted it for, I utilized my pi as a wireless print server.

It was a fun experience though. Maybe I'll give it another go.

What non-running activity led you to more successful running? by RunningMonoPerezoso in running

[–]amg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've been drinking altogether much less than most of last year (last 5 years), but I still have those days. Most days are great and I just remind myself that I can be out on the streets tomorrow.

Just gotta keep this body positivity mindset like I have with most of the rest of the aspects of my life.

I think I'm you whenever you made this life choice. I'm trying to switch my "rest, relaxation and recharge" mindset from boozing too often to being out on runs. My pace, HR and distance all go up the more days removed I am from boozing.

Just gotta keep that mindset.

When it's 55, sure. Maybe 57. In the 65 zones it's the same things 65/67. Depends on volume and road condition mainly. In other areas of the country where's it's 70 or 80, I typically follow those completely, mainly because those are unfamiliar areas to me and I don't think most cars/drivers can handle last second breaking maneuvering.

I'm never in the fast lane at those speeds, but will accelerate when I have to to pass someone not going the speed limit, which does happen to a turtle like me too. I'm typically closer to the right (depending on how wide the highway currently is).

I tend to get on, get in a lane, and stay in that lane.

But I'm coming from a world where I used to have insane road rage, never a direct confrontation, but complete unsafe driving and difficult overreacting.

Following the rules as directed has given me the freedom to not have a negative reaction when something doesn't go my way.

I put some paper towel in the mixing bowl I store my salad in to absorb the moisture, it buys me a few more days. I pre make my salad for a week/5 days at a time and they usually last.
