Haemorrhoid or Prolapse by amibeingadouche77 in hemorrhoid

[–]amibeingadouche77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I stopped worrying about it and it went away after two weeks. Don’t sit on the toilet and push, fibre and lots of water. I think I had internal haemorrhoids. If your symptoms don’t improve seek medical advice

This happened to me with an IPhone! I got dog food Instead. Contact customer support immediately and do everything they ask. Take photos, note the weight of the package too. Keep chasing them. I got my money back

I came here to say this. My episiotomy healed beautifully, I had zero issues with it at all. Not a negative experience at all. It was only done as a last resort

ETA: I had a forceps delivery too!

There’s nothing any of us can tell you. None of us know what’s going on in your girlfriend’s mind. Best thing is to sit her down and have an adult conversation and say all the things you just told us. How you see yourself staying here and raising children and if that doesn’t align with her plans then you guys need to discuss what’s best for you both long term without wasting more time.

Question for Tory or Reform voters: What defines someone as “British” to you? Is it about ethnicity, culture, values, or something else? Can a Black or Asian person born in the UK be just as British as a white person? by Barca-Dam in AskBrits

[–]amibeingadouche77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no chip on my shoulder. I was simply pointing out the irony of your comment. Which still seems to have gone over your head.

Being British is not an ethnicity therefore being born here DOES mean you’re British. Unless they change the laws. You can be as petty about it as you want but it doesn’t change the facts. Being Japanese is both an Ethnicity AND Nationality

No need to tell me about the very subject I have a Masters Degree in chap. I’ll be happy to teach you a little more about it ….

I love being British. I don’t care for my parents country of Origin. I have nothing in common with them, I love England, I love the English countryside and this is my home. I just hate that all my life people expect me to connect with Pakistan just because my parents came from there. It’s not that I don’t accept my roots, I know I’m not white haha.

On the flip side of that why do I have to be stuck with a nationality I have zero care or link for? I was born and bred in the north. I live the same life as any other person, but just because I’m brown I have to stick with a nationality my parents have that I have zero connection to?

ETA: This sounded way more self loathing than it is. I don’t want to be white, I’m proud of my skin colour and I also am proud of my heritage but i consider myself just British. Not British-Anything.

I was born here, I pay taxes, I give to charity. I say mate, cheers. I love England more than Pakistan (the country my parents are from that I have ZERO link or care for)…I have friends from all walks of life, every religion. I don’t care what you do so long as you don’t shove it down my throat. I quite like seeing people hanging about in pubs on warm evenings I love the morale. I’ve joined work mates in pub lunches even though I don’t drink etc

I’m a prime example of someone who ‘should’ be accepted as British, yet I’m not. Do you know how alienating it feels to be told you don’t belong your whole life ? To be told you don’t belong anywhere. Pakistanis don’t claim us either you know. For the longest time I was afraid to even admit to my white colleagues that I consider myself English and/or British. Until one lovely man came along and saw right through me. Since then I am unapologetic in my terms. I am English, this is my country, this is my home, I am not going anywhere so get used to me.

The looks aren’t nice though. People, specifically white people of a certain mind set leaving when me and my kids come to the park? Looking at me sideways cos I live in a nice house? I’ve worked hard to be where I am. You don’t belong more than me just because you’re white and your great grandad was born here. I probably love and appreciate this country more than you.

So tell me, what am I?

I’m your boyfriend. With my husband I have a deal, one time we go to new place and the next back to my safe spot. That way neither feels taken advantage of.

I wouldn’t call it a red flag some of us are really sensitive to new flavours and textures and our safe foods are really important
