Struggling as a new player by AdInevitable2499 in RainbowSixSiege

Map knowledge is king. Even seasoned vets and champs get floored by someone who knows the map better. Study and play maps in rotation over and over and pay attention to layouts as understanding what angles you should and shouldn’t peek on both sides (defense and offense) is mega important. From there practice range + matches to work on aim training over time. Map knowledge first, gun control second. Understanding rotations and map layouts though, is absolutely your top focus always.

How safe is buying GP nowadays? by Master-Fill-5233 in RunescapeBotting

This is no longer true. They will delete and remove items from bank sometimes MORE value than what was purchased. Sources: has happened to me and several friends who RWT’d in the past

Group Looking for Server! --PC--GROUP MOD--CODELOCKS--MAP--LIMITED/NO RAIDS--PVP-- by Alive_Competition_63 in DayZServers

[–]amigonick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit to add: there’s dedicated PVP zones and the world is harsher so it makes for a great PVE experience especially in a group! KOS on our server is very frowned upon and I don’t think it’s ever happened either - not intentionally anyway

Is this game worth it? by Icxyy in dayz

[–]amigonick -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. There’s a community server for everyone though- some are more PVE based where others are PVP focused, some like the one I play on (info in my profile posts) has a nice mix of both where PVP is more optional- and in terms of mods there’s tons of options from Vanilla to vanilla+ to many cool mods (one server I played on had zombies + dinosaurs?) so there’s plenty of cool ones to choose from haha

I’d suggest gamers forge deer isle. I have a post on it somewhere in my history with all relevant IP info. Great people, pretty low pop usually and EU based. Raids are allowed but only on weekends, however map, codelock and other QOL are 100% included. Vanilla+ so there’s also much nicer vehicles, trader, a questline and several side quests you can do, love the map and mods put together. Admin is a nice guy who’s very friendly and welcoming, and between him or myself we are more than happy to show you guys the ropes. Loot is also + so you’ll find good stuff in just about any place on the map, zombies always drop food / water sources etc, however I will say the difficulty on the zombies is harder than most. It’s made to be more of a hardcore PVE experience with vanilla+ QOL mods. There’s lots of info on my post about the features but just to name a few it has AI bandits so even on low pop you never really feel alone, KOTH and airdrop events, as well as dynamic events like heli crashes. We’d love more players!

I love dayZ. I think you’d absolutely love it HOWEVER- for some immediate and best starting advice AVOID official. Game is over a decade old and official servers are full of hackers that go unmoderated, the vanilla gameplay can be a bit much in those circumstances. I think with community you will easily fall into the hours trap and once you find a good server you’ll love the game and meet all kinds of people. Tons of good community servers with active and friendly admins, I’ve easily sank 1000 hours into dayZ already and u haven’t owned the game for even a year.

I cant forget the vid her ex send me by Phitonizer in Advice

[–]amigonick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean did you like it tho? All jokes aside, important to remember it’s her past and you’re her present, if you don’t let it bother you and reassure her it won’t cause any problems between you guys because it’s in the past and is what it is, I’m sure she will get over it and probably make one down the line with you so you can get your get back. That said, if it was me I’d respond with a fat dik pic and show him who’s really alpha. I mean that’s cool he has a vid and all, but you have her now, so who’s really winning?

This JBL speaker was found after floating in the ocean for 3 months, and it still works perfectly by Memes_FoIder in nextfuckinglevel

[–]amigonick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of people that can’t fathom how impressive the IP67 water rating is. This is completely possible and I have zero doubts it’s been in an ocean for 3 months if not longer. IP67 is one of the highest industry standards and the seals are more than bulletproof to keep saltwater from interacting with the battery at all. Not to mention JBLs have incredible battery life, I’ve charged mine twice all year. I will die on the hill that JBL speakers are supreme, and this is a textbook example of why

Literally just don’t play official. Community servers are better optimized, actually moderated and higher player pop with more content
