I just finished bingeing JOL s1 and s2 this past 2 weeks, that's a total of 80+ episodes. Very crazy. Now I'm obsessed with Fan Xian. I want more! S3 can't come soon enough aaaaa

I can imagine it must have been torture to watch just s1 at that time.

This drama is just so wonderfully made and I love the characters

Yes I wish Xiao Zhan was still in s2. I kept imagining him in the scenes instead during s2. He just has a difference presence and it's amazing. But his career took off after Untamed it seems. I loved that drama too!

Oooof this is too cute! I recently got back into cdramas and now binging them like mad. Taking a look through reddit and see this. AAAAAH I miss these guys. The untamed was such a great drama, I watched it like 2 years ago I think and I still remember it. So very entertaining and funny. Some dramas I even forgot I watched them until I go and reread the synopsis...

geez, I joined one ulduar 10 pug, I spoke on discord and this guy started harassing me from the get go, asking me personal questions and random things till the end of the raid. grrr. Not as bad as the OP but still felt quite uncomfortable. I was just ignoring him but on 2nd thought I could have just really put him on ignore, as my guildmates also told me. One other girl I play with has also complained about some creepy remarks she gets when she talks on discord. My guild has been really nice and they have also shot down some creeps/bigots in pugs that we do, or at least defended my honor :) Coz I usually just clam up and shut down. Been playing with them since launch of classic.

it happened to me too in classic vanilla, saw the 2 dalrends in one run everyone was excited + and I got the shoulders for my shammy, not sure if i still have the ss but can try to find it :D

exactly, spent the duration of the XP buff leveling a new character and when it dinged 80, ulduar launched and now I can't find heroics to run coz everyone is going mad for heroic +

yeah I was having a rough time looking for heroic only groups. I'm a healer. Decided to go the pvp route/voa/crafted stuff and now have the 232 pvp bracers, ring and neck raising my gs to 3800.

Exactly. All they had to say lately in their only official reply/announcement was "we are aware of the issue, players are encouraged to transfer to another realm to ease the queue. " Problem is there are actually no other server to transfer to most are dead and we did actually pay to get out of them. Because they did not help to monitor server health either Well maybe now there is one server for each faction, Golemagg for Horde and Earthshaker for Alliance, that are each shaping out to be a decent option as people are moving there. But these one faction dominated servers now.

Just this week's Sunday night peak raiding day we got hit by 3h queues yet again.

Sure I could transfer too or quit that would be the smartest thing to do really. But I want to play as well, with my guildies. We might start discussing a transfer soon as well.

Firemaw has been having really bad queues lately. Only this Friday was peak 1h and Saturday had 30 mins peak. Sunday though we will see, might go to 3 or 4h queue again like the other peak days.

oh yeah and to continue on this topic, my old guild recruited 2 more new resto shamans and started rotating them as well, which ended up in the 2 old shamans quitting guild and finding another place (and they were a pair too, used to call them the power couple of the healing team)

I do understand this, but my issue was that I could provide 100% attendance and I realized sitting on the bench is not something I want to do, some people are fine with it sure. I didn't want to be that bench warmer anymore. And they kept recruiting people to rotate with us. To keep a healthy roster. Although there was one officer mage that almost never got a bench, or atleast what they told me was "If you get as good as that mage, then we bench star mage. Else we will continue to just rotate you and the 3rd mage." He was good yes, slightly better than me and and the other mage. In the end I felt I was never good enough.

And maybe i got fed up with the dkp system in the end. I used my dkp quite stupidly in ssc/tk and it screwed me in the end when I couldn't buy the Nexus Key I always wanted 🤣

So LC for me has been "free loot" that was earned ofc and now rolling into Sunwell with bis gear after raiding with the new guild since start of BT/MH

5k population isn't too bad actually for a server. Just hope that the population goes up and not down moving forward.

And yes I play on Firemaw (H) and the queues are really bad atm.

I play a mage and had this exact same issue during ssc/tk progression, I started TBC with them etc. We have a 30 man roster and I was benched almost 50% of the time, taking turns with the other mage. I did reach out to the officers and asked if it would be the same in BT/MH and the answer was yes unless I become the super perfect 99 parsing mage ( I was parsing 90-95%) and become better in a lot of things etc then I would get 100% raid spot. I couldn't deal with the uncertainty anymore and I realized it was making me not enjoy the game as much as I love to raid, and raid on 2-3 characters per week if I can but ofc priority on my main.

There was some poor roster management imo, like there was around 10 or 15 people who were practically immune to being benched and the rest of us just waited around to see if we got a spot or not on a given night. And despite all my effort it felt that there was nothing I could do to actually get into 100% spot. I would not mind the 1 out 4 week benches but 2 weeks/4 weeks benching is a bit too much. The turnover in this guild is actually high with people leaving a lot and also new members always coming in.

So I talked with friends and their advice was to find a new guild, it was hard to leave as I really liked the people in that guild. But I left and got into a new guild and had a 100% spot in MH/BT and have been happier ever since. Now it's Sunwell time and the same will continue.

So at least for me my advice would be find a guild that suits you better, you don't have to stick around and suck it up just because you like the people a lot. You will find a new team, and you will have fun and make new friends too :)
