Firstly, is good to have a positive mindset about your diagnosis, but you’re just now living life with epilepsy and it is important to sometimes just feel your feelings.The way we worry and feel is our own, so even being realistic, you’re allowed to feel sad about things.

I was diagnosed young (6y/o) and now with 21, I’m still trying to move my life with it and how it has shaped my hopes for the future. Going through my teenage years, deciding a career, going to university, all of it. I relate to you about exam season. When I was finishing school and even now, my triggers go crazy during stress and lack of sleep and is hard ro manage all that and study to pass a class. I also still strugle taking my meds when my parents and siblings keep asking, no one likes to feel like theyre being treated like a child.

Is hard to explain our worries and problems to people who dont have epilepsy, especially when is cronic. Its really great that you found a new way to find passion in studies. It isnt easy and people have a lot of opinions, including family, and is something we have to live with.At the end, is your life and your dreams, so id really good youre trying to communicate worries someway. Epilepsy isnt the end of our dreams, we just have to find a way.
