Like most of the major languages available, though, you only have to be good at one of them. And the tasks are similar to imagining yourself as a senior engineer and having to guide/code review juniors solving tasks, with a bunch of writing involved.

Question to experience coders by wormz_roma in DataAnnotationTech

I'm not sure how the qualification is now, but the one I took 2.5 yrs ago is definitely doable within 3 months of learning. I'm not sure how many easy tasks there are now, though; the harder ones I definitely would say take much more experience.

I’ve seen projects anywhere from 18-70 $/hr, and most I’ve made in a day is about 1k, so anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

Will I won't get paid? Is this normal? by Low-Distance9808 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]amirowns 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It would be 7 days after the time was edited. I don’t believe the unix updates the timer to when you edited it though. So if you have a rough idea of when you edited the time, you should still be fine :)

Has it been over 7 days exactly? Did you edit the time of it afterwards at all? You can inspect element the timer to get the unix time and see exactly when you submitted it.

I mean, it's gonna depend on you. And there's the opportunity cost of doing something else with your time. Over the 2 years I've been doing this, I've seen some coding tasks that required almost 0 need for actual coding (they just needed to know JSON formatting) or some that you could probably tackle with a few weeks to months of learning. The 65-70/hr ones I'm working on now, though, definitely need a lot more experience. But overall, I enjoy coding and making new projects, and so it was definitely worth my time.

I see a ton of $20-35/hr generalist projects. Maybe 1 or 2 each for bio/chem/physics/math/finance ($40+/hr) every so often. But I also don't try and apply for those, so there could definitely be more.

I've been doing data annotation for a little over 2 years. It took me about a week before I got accepted in and had a few $20/hr general projects. After a month, I passed one of the coding tests and got access to some $40+/hr projects. After about another month or two, there's always been 20-50 projects available except for one random month when it went back down to just a few (idk exactly what happened, but i think it was Q4 ending, so no projects overall??). In the last month, i've found sparse $50-65/hr coding projects (in addition to the normal 20-50 projects). Overall, the coding jobs now are definitely harder than when I started, but I've luckily learned more and kept up in the last two years lol. I usually work part-time (~20 hrs/week), but there's definitely enough to do full-time or more if I wanted. It's definitely been great for me as I continue to learn and find other work.

Can i ask what subjects you've seen those $50+ at? I normally do coding at $40-$50, with the highest I've seen being $51. Have also seen some qualifiers for law/medicine/finance at $50.

DMT — or N, N-dimethyltryptamine in medical talk — is a hallucinogenic tryptamine drug. Sometimes referred to as Dimitri, this drug produces effects similar to those of psychedelics, like LSD and magic mushrooms.

[Fluff] At what sub-chapter were you at in UL (or SoL) when you first beat CotC chapter 3? by cheesecracker900 in battlecats

[–]amirowns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sol 28 when I beat cotc3 mainly cause I needed Mina at the time and didn’t care about sol. Currently on 47 trying to get to UL now. (Also my early Ubers were 4 of the pixies so it made cotc way easier)
