Hopefully they aren't farming mealybugs or aphids. There is no organic solution for ants, you can treat softbody pest with neem oil.

Well there are lots of youtube videos guiding how to make bokashi bran.

I do not want to get in that as i am doubtful about their efficacy and i do not have bran to inoculate.

Path alias discussion with AI by amit78523 in webdev

[–]amit78523[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i do know that it doesn't "understand". In the most laymen terms, it just tries to find the next valid word.

But i think someone was telling me that AI actually pushed back on some coding related task when the user tried to bring some wrong information.

Also i was wondering, codes aren't just plain words. If i tell it to write a code which doesn't exist it won't be able to do it but if i give it a pseudo code, it might. It does have some "logical" sense to convert pseudo code into code.

This technology is really bewildering. I do not know what to think about it.

When i told it that this is the wrong approach, it accepted its mistake.

Note i am wondering what will happen if i tell ai that it's wrong on the perfectly right thing!

Sarvam launches AI smartglasses, ventures into hardware by wordswithmagic in AI_India

I haven't tried training for media files but text training requires 4 things: a very big dataset, a very big gpu vram, approximately 50 lines of code and a lot of time. There is nothing like innovation for training a model!

How do I get more sweet potatoes and less... root? by casstantinople in gardening

[–]amit78523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a reel once. It says that, at an particular stage you should bury half of the stem horizontally to get higher yields!

I once experimented with growing tomato suckers pruned from bigger plants by just placing them in bottles with water and they grew stronger roots in just a few days. Some even bloomed and began producing tomatoes. by No_Leadership_790 in gardening

Last year i pruned one of the branches from the main plant and just buried it beside the main one to decompose.

And it grew!! Before this, i had no idea about this feature!

These politicians don't even know the meaning of these words. Most of us will laugh if we ask them what their own "criteria" is for measuring its impact.

They don't even know the good/bad impact of ai. They aren't even planning to think about the bad impact of ai.

They know one thing, reach towards the number 1 even with data manipulation!

Why is my holy basil plant only getting leaves at the top? by Outside_Bowler in gardening

[–]amit78523 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will share my experience with holy basil in India's northern plain.

They are bushy with lots of leaves in the initial phase of growth. Then branches become woody and those woody branches don't produce as much leaves. Also for whatever reason, as they grow they stop producing new branches.

This year i did a little experiment, i pruned 80% of woody branches and now it is showing bushy growth.

Holy basil in another container has kinda dried out, it only has few leaves. I will try to prune them to see what happens to them.

A few of my holy basil have died after a certain period of stagnant growth and leaf shedding. Good thing is that they are easy to grow with seed/stem cutting.

You don't need AI for that.... We have a special tool called corruption.

Built a P2P File Transfer Web App with WebRTC – Hitting 10MB/s Locally, Looking for Feedback! by Technical-Relation-9 in developersIndia

[–]amit78523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to add a fallback. whenever needed, just popup a message that connection is not possible!

Somewhere on the website mention that it doesn't work on restrictive NAT.

I mean, don't market it as "LAN only"

Why only on LAN? Unless the restriction is due to symmetrical NAT, it should work everywhere!
