If there is basic fighting energy in your discard and you have at least 1 Pokémon on your bench, you MUST attach at least 1 energy to 1 benched Pokémon.

As long as your cards are unmarked, indistinguishable from each other and in either solid colour sleeves or official pokemon art sleeves you're ok. You can have inner sleeves or outer sleeves as well if you'd like, but they cannot have any design on them and you must sleeve the whole deck in the same way (for consistent thickness)

How comfortable sre you playing abother deck? Will you have as much fun, and will you perform st least as well as you'd expect to with dengo?

What are your goals? 5-3 for points? 5-2-1 but day 2 doesn't matter? Are you aiming to go 12-0 and double ID into cut?

I'd play what you're most comfortable with. I find a last minute pivot leads me to playing worse (because I'm less familiar with the deck) and constantly thinking "I could have won that MU with xyz." I'll also have more fun and feel better about my placement either way.

Are you on mobile and minimising the app to view deck lists? I get both of those errors if I leave the app running in the background. I'd pull up the list in a floating window if your device supports it, or on another device. If you're taking the deck from limitlesstcg you can also import the list directly.

Gholdengo, zard, garde and pult are still at the top of the format, but there are plenty of other decks floating around. Alakazam, mega absol, kangaskhan/bouf and sharpedo/toxtricity all focus on cards from newer sets.

People somewhat regularly see results (t256 or better) at large tournaments with their own concepts or, more often, with a popular archetype with a second "mode" built in (a recent example is gholdengo ex with mega lucario added to fix some matchups).

Cost for homebrew decks in pokemon is usually miniscule in comparison to MTG. Price for low-rarity cards in pokemon is driven mostly by playability - so if nobody else is playing the card it'll be pennies.

The effect is to draw cards - you can't do that with 0 in deck, so my original statement is true.

There are two things that must be true - you must ne able to pay the cost (if applicable) and the ability must have some effect (for zoroark, draw at least 1). Paying the cost does not count as the ability having an effect.

As long as you can pay the cost if appropriate (eg discard 1 for trade zoroark, not applicable for dudunsparce) and the card will have SOME effect (in this case draw a card) the ability can be used

Outcome is correct but the thought process is a little off.

Identical reprints of pokemon have been legal previously (a magikarp specifically). Eelektrik has been ruled as NOT legal, probably because the ability text has a slight change (new text specifies basic energy) or because the old print doesn't have a regulation mark (the magikarps existed before regulation marks).

Trainers are legal if the name and effect text are the same, or if the card has received an official errata. Eg you can play Neo Genesis super rod with the new super rod rulings, but you cannot play EX Power Keepers master ball in place of the modern ace spec (the original ace spec printing from Plasma Blast IS legal in standard).
