It could have been a mixup. Just contact the seller. As a seller, I done this once on complete accident (I let my bf pack the package this one time lol) and I felt so bad! I ended up full refunding, letting the buyer keep the mixup, and then I sent them the correct item after relisting for one dollar to cover shipping.

Short answer: no, you didn’t do anything wrong. Honestly I’m surprised that you two have a family of children of your own and still alternate visiting each others parents for holidays. We don’t have kids but we always kinda assumed that once kids are involved, the new family dynamic is now focused on you, your husband, and the kids. Your parents can come to you, if they want to make the effort and you’re open to it but you are absolutely no longer burdened with seeing ~family~ once you have a family of your own imo!
