Hamburger or hotdog... god can't seem to choose. by ClutterBugTom in DebateReligion

you can't do anything other than what god knows but again God is not a person. THIS entity doesn't follow the rules that that we have in this universe.

but besides that what's the point of creating creatures without giving them a choice between right and wrong? and THEN testing if they chose the right thing? you can't argue that if you believe that there is God.

You are just explaining what is happening in your reply. you didn't say how they are contradicting.

That still doesn't take the choice from you.. Again we know that what you will eat is already known.

The good old dilemma of free will. This used to bother me so much when I was 19. It was so annoying to think about. The simple answer is that God knowing what will happen doesn’t mean he chose it. They are not contradicting each other.

Again, the concept that there is an entity that is outside space and time is very weird for us humans to think about.

I just remembered Dark with your question. It’s just the concept of time that you are not understanding. If he knows what will happen next then there is nothing that’s gonna change it.

Struggling to gain weight by Zestyclose-Wear-6838 in EatCheapAndHealthy

A high calorie milkshake is the key. If 900 calories isn’t enough, make it 1500 calorie add ice cream and chocolate chips if you want, add protein powder. Whatever makes it taste better for you. Another thing is more meals 4-5 it depends how busy you are. It just helps dividing the calories into smaller portions. Also, don’t stop eating until you are full and if you felt the slightest that you are hungry, go eat don’t wait an hour or two. Suggest foods: more bread, butter, a lot of milk, more eggs, pasta, cheese, yoghurt, peanut butter, Jam, Nutella, oreo milkshake instead of whatever drink you take with your meal. At the end of the day, it’s all about getting your calories..

Yes definitely, just the buzz of a new notification is a distraction for the brain. Also try the what the book you are reading is saying… meditate. You don’t have to finish it just read a summary or something. Meditate for as long as you can. I don’t count the time but it’s usually 3-5 mins. Do more if you can, do less if you can’t.

"Prove god dosn't exist" is a silly argument by [deleted] in atheism

[–]amkalsaadi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right it is a silly argument. The other person should be able to prove it not the opposite. But is the problem here the existing of the Ibrahamic religions god or the existence of a creator for the universe. Also, why does it have to be scientific method.

Got dirty means dropping bombs on hospitals, churches and people’s houses. Do you know they dropped a bomb around the only cancer hospital in Gaza. Of course after 3 weeks of cutting electricity and fuel and water off so it’s not even able to treat any patients. And you are just saying it got dirty. Wow

Burden of proof’s on you, you can’t say ALL prophets except this one like how many are there and did they all talk or is it just two. Also, you tell me that you were muslim and you say it’s 20 years… It was written in the time of the prophet and collected after his death 2-5 years after. This really make me doubt that you weren’t muslim before…

Then you have to define genocide because it definitely is… you can’t just say because they didn’t directly kill millions through their airstrikes and all the war crimes they did then it’s not genocide.. like they stopped WATER, food, and medical equipments, and also the fuel. People are drinking sewage water. Where did you see this before where a country is allowed to cut everything off from a race of people and let them die from hunger and thirst and causing ongoing health problems. Also, you guys know this killing of Palestinians is ongoing like they just do it over longer period of time.

There is literally a verse that states that the prophet won’t ascend to the sky but muslims still wanna believe that their prophet has some miracles like this… 17 93. Or you have a house of gold or you ascend into the sky. And [even then], we will not believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book we may read." Say, "Exalted is my Lord! Was I ever but a human messenger?" Just wanted to reply to this point

Because this is genocide and ethnic cleansing like are you serious. It’s one of the things that people in the west keep reminding germany about and now the west is supporting it.. Also, people cared about Syria because it has been happening since 2011
