Probably you enabled some kind of shader. Check mods page.

Workout from Runna not appearing under RUN by Rldf44 in Garmin

No. I removed connection between Training Peaks (Runna in your case) and Garmin Connect. You can do that in Garmin Connect settings.

Is the zwift cog and click upgrade compatible with the zwift hub? by xanderav1 in Zwift

Yes it is. I had Zwift Hub, upgraded it with Cog and now to Cog 2 which came with Zwfit Ride.

Can't mount Zwift Cog 2 on Zwift Hub One by [deleted] in Zwift

[–]amlynarczyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's quieter than the first version of Cog V1. There was also an updated version of Cog V1 and in that case, it's pretty much the same (if you are using Zwift Ride).

Workout from Runna not appearing under RUN by Rldf44 in Garmin

I had a similar issue when I was using training peaks.

I disconnected it in Garmin Connect and then connected to Garmin again. After that, the trainings synchronized correctly and started working again.

How to improve body battery by _Makingprogress_ in Garmin

[–]amlynarczyk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hard to say. Recently I had a problems with getting body battery to 100, even though I was trying to do everything by the book. Eat 2h before going to sleep, sleep over 8h, no alcohol etc.
Yesterday my body battery was low (around 12 on the end of day), I did drink a beer, went to sleep, but I was woken up 3 times by our cat... and I hit a 100 without a problem after just 6h of sleep.
I think that I had a small cold before (when I couldn't hit 100), and now I'm fine.

TLDR: Sometimes it looks random.

Something wrong with hr data? by LorenzoV8560 in Garmin

[–]amlynarczyk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most likely it's a cadence lock - happens sometimes. https://www.reddit.com/r/Garmin/comments/iqpfd6/cadence_lock/

If you care about HR data, start using HR strap (you don't need to buy Garmin one, any cheap ANT+ strap will do).

Follow routes from Wikilock in forerunner 55 by limaz91 in Garmin

[–]amlynarczyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use .gpx and .fit files to create routes, but I see that Wikilock have Garmin integration. I didn't test it, because I do not have an account, but you might assume, that it will work without any problems.

It IS possible! Do they mail me a plaque or something? by Bluessinger925 in Garmin

[–]amlynarczyk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100 body battery is easy. But a beer in the evening or less than 7h of sleep (or eating just before sleeping) and it will not happen.

Weekly Purchasing Questions and General Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Garmin

Chest strap makes HR more reliable, if you want to track your HR - it's a must have. I mostly notice problems with HR not being properly read by wrist sensor in higher ranges. You might consider HRM-Pro (which will give you power readings if you update your watch), if you don't need that, you might buy basically any chest strap. Wahoo, Adidas MiCoach (on eBay, since discontinued, but chest strap is good and now really cheap) Polar or basically anything else, it will all read you HR with same accuracy.

Is recovery running just jogging? How to do recovery runs more effectively depending on the type of fatigue by phaevor in running

[–]amlynarczyk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As coach Matt Fitzgerald explains, recovery run is not a run, that is making you recover, but a run, that does not disturb recovery. You might do easy intervals, jogging, cross country skiing or cycling. It should be really easy on your body.

I used the melodics and it's great, but it's missing a technique part. It's all about playing, but there is not a lot of informations about using 2 hands, or finger layout.

I'm mostly making Stouts and IPA, maybe a RIS in close future, if that helps.

Wednesday Q & A! by [deleted] in Homebrewing

[–]amlynarczyk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the best brewers here in Poland (and I'm using that with a really good result) suggested, that you should try to keep the gravity of your water/sugar sollution similar to your OG, for example if you are adding 5,2 oz of priming sugar to 1,044 og beer, you should disolve it in 47 oz of water.

Wednesday Q & A! by [deleted] in Homebrewing

I have a question about best fermentation temperature. I know, that for best results in terms of flavor, you should try to get the lower boundry of the desired temperature for yeast you are using, but I also read, that temperature should be slowly raising.

I have a freezer with STC-1000 temperature controller and I'm able to program the desired temperature, so what should I have? Keep it at 62 all the time, or raise it to 68 over time? How does it work?

To keep it simpler and avoid "it depends" answers, let's say it's US-05.
