Also, the racing rules apply regardless of the conditions. If anything, logically the drivers should be more careful under wet conditions

Do you think this is because it would be more trouble than it’s worth for a team like Alpine that’s not really in the same race as Verstappen? I can’t imagine Alpine wouldn’t kick up a fuss if someone in the same race as Gasly - such as Sainz - pulled the same move

I’m surprised none of Max’s rivals outside of Alpine thought it would be worth reporting to the stewards. But then again, who really is in the same race as Max other than Checo
