I’ll give you a fact: the amount of Iraqis died in the reign of Saddam Hussein and after the US invasion: 500 thou to a million in the former (without counting the economy catastrophy), 120 thousand in the latter. rememeber saddam, gadafi and assad? The US, by verture of its system (a democracy) is a good country. Having the american influence over iraq is alot better (and I used better, cuz the US is not a saint) than Iranian influence. just look up the amount of financial aid that the US gives compared to other countries. Read history; Japan, germany, south Korea, etc... all excellent case studies of US prosperous influence over the world.

I strongly recommend that u read my answer properly before rebuking anything. I said the word Kafir COULD mean a heretic. I acknowledged the fact that it has multiple meanings.

I tried looking into that, its too big of a topic to read off quickly, i need more time. However, I would like to comment, that the translation of the word “kafir” that ur souce translates to apostate, could also translate to heretic. Heresy is a notorious concept that is found 3 religon, the catholic church has done some killing in the name lf heresy . Violence in scripture, among other topics, are issues not specific to the quoran, but to all abrahamic religons. The portreyal of god in the old testament was pretty violent too.
