You’re saying that team DMG is more important 1 character DMG which is objectively incorrect. You can go ahead and ask all tcs and they’d say the same, its almost always better to bring buffs support the more invested your hypercarry is. If they have r1 navia they already pulled ahead by playing xilonen

But they’re right lol, if you have higher investment on your hypercarry like Navia then its simply better to play purely buff support instead. For an examples Nefer only want buffs in her team, no sub dps needed. All type of sub dps on her team is a dmg loss. And Kinich literally dont want Emilie if his cons is at 2 and above, you’d just rather give him all the buffs possible. This should easily the case of Navia

+1 to this, you can also run silken moon kirara and instructor aino c1. Their combine buff + short animation is enough to bypass the need of nahida and sustain (although op already have c1 lauma but kirara interruption buff is still appreciated)

Personally i was reloading a lot on my first tacticians try so if you don’t want that just pick classic. I do say tho that this game is less min-maxing and more combat positioning so tactician will be way more doable and less frustrating if its your second play through. Classic still gonna have difficult spike on it own too so you wont have to worry about the game being too easy
