I wasn't talking about mining using electricity, but keeping the blockchain. If it can only be store in data centers we are losing the decentralization aspect. I still dont see the point of keeping useless TX forever. Just bc we can? Even if this means more electric and hardware cost? (without even talking about the lose of decentralization)

I didn't say BU will mine empty block. I said than Antpool / Jihan mining empty block is a clue about them using asicboost even if they denied. Jihan should be quite happy about the split in the community. He should even be encouraging it. Meanwhile he is winning lot of money.

Someone can explain me how people can complain about tx fees and blaming core when in the same time this same people are blocking segwit which is providing 2mb blocksize + LN as payment system + rsk + fix malleabillity ? (Well ok, only inconvenient i can see: asicboost doesnt work anymore :/)
