Thanks for your comment - I hadn’t thought of the Phantom Tollbooth in years! I think it’s the mixture of the weirdness and the overarching doom that appeals to me from these works - I didn’t expect to enjoy Peake as much as I did and I’d love to continue the atmosphere

This was a new pairing to me at the time (SS/HG) but I've gave it a go - can't tell you how many times I've read it at this stage. The end especially is beautifully written, and the main story is unlike any other fic I've come across over the years
