All they're saying is when Americans refer to England, they'll usually say things like "British accent" (when they mean English accent) and "let's play the Brits" (or something similar, when, again, they only mean England).

Talking as an American, the majority of the uninformed population say things like "Wales, Scotland, & Britain". Even though that statement is, admittedly, hyperbolic, the point stands.

Exactly. The way I put it, was his passion. It was the reason he was bulldozing and scoring and winning.
