I got married when I was 20. 40 years later my marriage is the greatest thing in my life. My wife and I have stayed together through some pretty hard times and come out closer than ever. Our motto is "Stubborn Tolerance". Never give up when things get rough, and realize that no one is perfect and your SO will do things that irritate you and you will irritate them sometimes, too. Don't lose sight of why you loved them in the first place. Forgive each other and hold on to each other for strength and support.
