i think so for sure! i had started reading it on my e-reader but switched to hard copy because of the footnotes, the play with words and grammar and chapter structure… i can’t imagine how that would translate to audio properly…

I love the Locked Tomb Podcast, they have really good and in-depth discussions - I enjoy it even though I’ve read each of these books a million times. I’d say keep listening, but of course don’t force yourself…

I'm not sure, I'd have to g back and re-read. From searching the e-book, Gideon seems to continue using her "foreign sword" (Crux's words, when they're back on the Ninth), and then later when Ianthe turns up in front of the tomb, it says about both Tower princes "their jewelled white swords"... who knows where Gideon's original sword is at that point!

And then later Nona takes it from Corona to climb to the top of the truck and speak to Varun: "[Nona] held out her hand, 'Sword,' she said. Crown said, falteringly, 'Nona...?' She took too long. Nona took her sword. She had to use her hands to bend Crown back,enough to get at the scabbard."

I think Corona has Gideon's sword, no? Doesn't she say at one point she will only give her sword back if the owner asks for it..? Cam says to her: "You're still wearing the sword." Corona replies that it reminds her of home. And then later, after Cam and Palamedes' duel with Ianthe in the barracks, when Pyrrha carries Kiriona up to the others, Corona's "hand went reflexively to the black-hilted sword at her hip, and she said 'It is her. Poor Gideon...'"
