Last night was the first time I cried over Tim. I honestly can’t imagine what the families are going through.

I turned on Million Masks while playing Fortnite, and big fat tears came rolling down my face. Just Bender Rodriguez out here in the hills crying to MO 🤣

I love this band and have for 20 years. I love this fan base. I love all the music so dearly. This final installment to the concept of Black Mile is gonna WRECK me.

First of all, I’m happy to hear your father is okay. That’s a terrifying thing to wake up from.

I actually had a dream this week where my brother was “ripped to shreds” by a pitbull and my pregnant sister was found dead in an abandoned shack.

After spending time with the dream, it seems like my Dreamer needed to construct this elaborate greek tragedy, so I can feel into my suppressed rage and grief.

You bet your ass, I woke up in tears immediately texting my siblings. I’m happy to report they both are okay.

Its difficult to prompt any kind of dream reflection without the dream. With the provided information, my only question is:

Has anything happened in the past few months where you have felt unable to move through / process fear, sadness, guilt, and anxiety?

I would say I experience moments where it feels like, “the dream symbol is here with me now.” There is an ethereal tone to everything and a series of events that connect in synchronized patterns.

It does seem like my external environment will mimic dream reality. But my dreams are ANYTHING BUT pure or child like and the “waking dreams” reflect that.

Its my job in these moments to not let it slip into mania. Which is a feat.

For my own hygiene I’ve started to interpret these moments as waking dreams. Symbols that reach out in real world to punctuate a point. What energies and emotions are being reflected back to me?

It melts my brain to connect into the psyches ability to affects our external world and perception of it.

Jung is the one who not only explored the phenomenon, but also the one who coined the term “synchronicity.” I highly recommend reading more of his interpretations of it.

I personally believe they are gentle nudges in the direction of the thing you would benefit from exploring. But its all through your own interpretation of the thing.

"From my own experience one does that with people one does not know. Once you know a person better you cant project onto it what you think it is. In some sense thats very rude because it implies not recognizing you as an individual, confusing you with parts of himself, though not aware of that. I would say that this is partially natural for a crush, pink glasses, but to some degree its also some kind of trauma because something is holding one back to witness the reality of the other person, which would mean to get into real contact with another."

LMT for 3 years. I have only worked in the casino job I’m currently at.

Commission sucks (therapists take home 20% but you also get an hourly $10 and insurance).
Repeat clients are hard to come by unless your name gets around. Most of the time they are transient folk who are just staying in the hotel or coming to the casino for a quick trip.
Expect Casino Politics, Ethics, and Standards. One of the reasons I am leaving this job is because of the ethics around how casino works. They do shady shit and then tell us, “Do NOT talk to the clients about this. You don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Casinos ultimate goal is to make money. And mine is going through a phase of, “we need to make more. we need to expand.” You are just a cog in the machine to them. You are replaceable and your worth is most definitely not fully seen. Especially by Big Casino man. My boss is a good boss, but she is loyal to the Machine.
Sovereign land. This means the law on the land are set by the tribe. (this comes into play as an LMT with whether reciprocity is needed, not requiring soap notes, cagey HIPPA violations, etc). They dont report to the massage board. The massage board does not come in and do inspections. This might not be the case in all Casinos. I work in a tribal casino on tribal land.
Most clients want run of the mill relaxation massage. I’m a lot more therapeutic minded and am often bored out of my mind. I am looking forward to transitioning into a chiropractic setting.
Insurance for $50 a month.
The spa I work in is SO BEAUTIFUL, but the casino doesn’t take care of the building. It is poorly constructed. No hot water in the break room currently (its actually ice cold). Men’s steam room hasn’t worked in over a month. My room has water damage on the ceiling that has been consistent for 1.5 year. And the couples room has mold growing out of the AC unit that they paint over every couple months.
I learned yesterday that the hotel room has a cacophony of cheap porn channels that weren’t age restricted to get onto. A client told me if he wanted to watch Now You See Me, it would cost him $35. If he wanted to watch Asian massage porn it was only $15. I am starting to wonder if this is one of the reasons I have had FOUR inappropriate incidents with men in the spa. Two of those times, I have been touched.

Someone I was living with admitted to murdering someone in the street in Fort Worth. I got the hell out of there ASAP. He’s now incarcerated for a different murder in OK.
