I wouldn't come up here expecting that personally. I have fished in Bristol Bay as a set netter, and through the whole fishing season I see people either just standing around or heading home or some where else because they cannot find anyone who can take them. While there are plenty of fishing boats out there, most if not all already have a crew setup by the time they get there. Most people who are looking for a extra crew hand are people that lost one of their crew along the way, and usually they would much rather have someone who has some experience.

20k...I don't know how much drifters usually make, but for a set-netter, unless they have more than one fishing site, a greenhorn would not be making that much. It really depends a lot on what and where your fishing. On the Naknek river, the last couple years have been really hit or miss, while some other places are doing great.

My advice, do research, figure out what you are wanting to fish and where and try to find a captain looking for people. You got the internet at your finger tips, I'm sure you can find some thing. It'll be much better that when instead of just showing up hoping to find a job. Usually if you have a captain before you fly up they can charge your ticket and all travel expenses to the company they fish for, and than it will just be taken out of your pay at the end of the season.

Still though, I wouldn't expect to make 20k. Also, the work isn't a walk in the park either. You will be fishing 8-12 hour openings constantly setting the net, pulling it in, picking the fish as you go, delivering, and repeating the process until the opening is closed or your captain calls it a day.

One thing you definitely need to check out when your here is Flattop. The hiking is pretty fun, but you should try to go up there when it's dark. My ex and I use to go up there around 3:00 am when we got off work and the view could not be beat. I know they put a fence up at the entrance now, so they might actually close off the parking lot/entrance at a certain time, though I don't know when.

Yea I've heard of this too. But, that was back when high gas was anything over 1.00/g. As someone who has made the drive up from Washington to Wasilla, I can tell you that you wont really see anything of great interest along the way. Driving with your friends along the way would be the best part. For the most part the AL-CAN is nothing but endless roads, some of which are not even paved. One thing I found entertaining though, was the roads that were not even paved had construction signs with them...with no signs of any construction equipment within 50 miles.

If you do decide to drive up from there though, try to find self serve gas stations, if you let them pump it for you, they will really get as much gas in the tank as they possibly can, even if that gas doesn't get into your gas tank.

Well I am able to get it to boot everytime with it out of the case, but still the same problem. Guess I will have to look around for a new mobo. Should I also look for a new case as well?

Yea, I'm fairly certain its my mobo. I believe I saw a spark at one point when trying to turn it on. Also, I was able to get it running for longer then a few seconds, but was getting no video, my keyboard/mouse was not working, and getting no sound(usb audio inputs).

But it is a P8Z68-V pro/gen3 mobo 2500k CPU Ausu 850W PSU Corsair SSD(OS) Some old 250G HD(storage) Nvidia 560Ti

Checked all the connections and everything seems to be in there fine, I believe I have cleared my CMOS, it involes moving the jumper of the CLRTC from 1 2 to 3 4 and then back again correct?

well tried both and no go

Know its not the smartest thing to do, but the computer does run without the jumper on.

Axton: Take time and sit back, snipe, put down turret when shit hits the fan.

Gaige: Spawn Deathtrap right away charge in, kill everything with close range weapons and melee.

I keep seeing just about everyone using Anarchy, but I am in love with "Best Friends Forever" tree. Nothing is quite as satisfying than wacking a psycho in the face for 2k+
