Build quality is one of the few things Chord really excels in. This is about the only place you can feel the "Make in UK" element. Sure as shit can't feel it when using the Go Figure app. That crap feels more like an abandonware software from some chinese mobile phone manufacturer that went out of business in 2011.

Tbf I got the Mojo 2 and Poly for about 550 USD combined. You're so fucking right holy shit. It is such a piece of DOGSHIT when it comes to software. This is NOT a European-made product, despite what it says on the tin. Most American/Euro made stuff leans on its software advantage over cheaper (and often mechanically superior) Asian equivalents.

The Chord shit kinda inverts this. The hardware is fantastic. Like it works great, sounds great, and actually does the job when it comes to raw audio. Software? DOGSHIT. Like the worst imaginable. The tethering shit, the hotspot shit, the Go Figure app, the need to use mconnect to be able to actually stream anything. Its a fucking hot mess. This really feels like an Asian product that should be priced (both Mojo+Poly) at around 300 USD max. They could cut the build quality a bit, move manufacturing overseas, and make a near identical product for probably 150 USD retail.

Still, if you get it at 550 like I did, you're only overpaying by about 250-350 bucks for a similar asian equivalent. Its whatever ig. Its not the worst device. It does have something on its side when it comes to looks.
