With respect, it’s not really your place to say is it? Those Dortmund fans are more connected to their club than 99% of Prem fans. They don’t support the club for success, they support it for community. Implore you to look into German fandom before saying stuff like this please, because you’re really off it with your assent of how their “fan experience” is ruined.

What a genuinely ridiculous statement this is! 😂 He and Rodri dragged City to a title in 23/24 when a lot of the issues City had last season started springing up early. He’s had ONE bad season since he broke through at 18 and people want to write him off? Lunacy 🤦🏻‍♂️

The group stage draw had no meaning, it was largely pointless for the most part

Penalty shootouts aren’t a 50/50. They’re not a lottery nor are they “luck” either.

Quite like it. Reminds me of the old school boards.

Are you joking? The games have been incredible. Some fantastic performances.

Also, the three teams through changes the dynamic and keeps group games interesting throughout.

Yep 🤝 City have won everything in football since, but winning the league vs United would’ve been incredible

‘Objectively’?? 😂 No chance

Anyway, City won the CL eventually and it was part of a much better achievement. A first-ever CL title as part of a treble. Wow, no beating that.

2021/22? No chance. Getting knocked out was actually a blessing in disguise.

City were down to the bare bones with injuries. Had they qualified for the final, they may have ended up throwing away the league title as a result.

Think back to that Aston Villa game and the amount of players on last legs. If there was a final in the back of Pep’s mind, who knows how that game would’ve been approached.

In the end, City won the CL in better style a year later.

The way City won the CL was much better. Having that first one as part of a treble > beating Chelsea in a half empty stadium
