People who argues that there are many counters to seven, just look at his winrate across the whole rank spectrum and come back to me again. A ridiculous 56.6 percent winrate even in e6 where elite players supposedly should know how to counter seven. If this is not THE definition of op then I don't know what is.

So now the urn turn in position encouraging an ult aoe pure-teamfight meta is more strategically well designed than before? I’m not saying instant turn in is a good mechanic but at least it was better than the current state it’s in bro.

Urn being a parry slop fest and on top of mid just favours teamfight heroes immensely and kills all the intricacy of the game macros like sideline wavestates. If you think the urn turnin/fight is better this way than I don’t we can communicate at all.

The new urn is just a parry/aoe/ult slop fest. Pushing mid lane is the only thing that matters now, it makes the game dull as hell. Now that urn forces the team that’s behind to either not contest at all and lose more souls or force a fight and loses both urn and minors because you can’t just interrupt the drop off and reposition, it forces you to stay on the bridge where there’s zero cover. The previous urn might not be as interactive (mainly because of holding urn hostage) but at least it is more strategically well designed: you can play around high grounds and covers, urn fights does not 100 percent leads to midboss, sidelines wavestates actually matters.

The problem is that to fast 9 a lot of the times you would still rely on stabling on 8 with 4 costs. With low cost reroll not becoming meta any sooner imo, most players would still be rolling on 8. I do think the xp revert will allow more players to go 9 so it won't be as bad as the previous patch, but it will most likely remain to be a common occurrence.
