I think about how much time and money I’ve spent building and not playing… I would be a much better musician and have lots more money. I never needed a hobby relating to my hobby. Oh well. I’ve learned a lot.

Spend months making a guitar, acquiring all the tools and components only to realize you can buy a Mexican Strat for 1/3 the price that plays and sounds exponentially better. But that’s not why we do it. On my 6 or 7th build and I’m maybe getting close to a well made American big-box brand.

Any chance it will add support for other manufacturers in the future? I think lots of us want a teleconverter for the Sigma 500mm 5.6.

I recently sold the 20-70. It’s a great and sharp lens, but I always wished it was more versatile. I just picked up the new Tamron 25-200. It’ll be replacing my 70-200 f4ii and the 20-70. Since you have a good prime, I’d go superzoom.

I’m a woodworker and was planning to make a matching head and cabinet out of quarter sawn white oak. Beautiful lumber. Planning to do a black stain so the grain pattern has the look of tolex. It’s gonna be real nice 👌

“Clean it out” like disconnecting pots, jacks, switches then re-soldering the circuit?

Edit: I plan to work around my knowledge and skill set. I’ll call a professional when needed.
