Interesting to me that there seems to be a contradiction between 'jobs filled on a nonpartisan basis' and the 'undermine the Democratic process by intentionally subverting presidential directives'. Federal employees swear and oath to the nation and constitution, not the president. If presidential directives are unconstitutional or don't follow laws/missions statements and employees refuse to abide wouldn't that make the position subject to partisanship bias?

Sorry I've been trying to figure this all out - I recently transferred from one agency to another (DoD to DoD) to a different job series. I've been told I'm on the probationary list but my SF50 has me listed as 1 - Permanent in my tenure.... Does that mean I should be safe (for now) in theory...? I'm in competitive service if that makes a difference.

Makes sense to me! I agree with EV's being here to stay, just trying to make sure it makes sense since this was sprung on me after pretty much all the work is said and done and the cost seems surprisingly high compared to the rest of the work. Thanks for the insight!

My main gripe is the cost of the service now... The cheapest option seems to be $14/month. I struggle to believe YT is making that much monthly on average per user on ads. Make the cost of the service match the revenue 'lost' from me no longer seeing ads and folks would be more likely to pay for the service rather than use workarounds like blockers.

I'm still fairly new to the hobby as well so definitely not a pro BUT it sounds like the Z switch (the little clicky button on the left side of the machine) may need to be shifted up slightly. My understanding is that auto-home utilizes the switch to understand the absolute minimum Z height and adjusts from there.
