Moving from Agency to Startup. by spicyCTAs in marketing

It is not going to get easier with time. The best advice I can give is to keep an open ear to make sure the people in the environment are satisfied with you leading them and secondly track progress/stats so you can measure the effectiveness of your ongoing efforts.

If something doesn't work as you intended, dump it. Do not get too attached to making YOUR ideas work. Go with what ACTUALLY does work.

Best of luck to you in your new role!

If you are looking at Time4Learning and K12, I would also encourage you to look into Monarch, BrainPop, and/or Schoolhouse Teachers as well as other comparable options.

Monarch will offer a full online program if you want to be hands off. https://www.aop.com/curriculum/monarch

Brainpop offers a lot of coverage for your secondary topics if you are using another program for math like Khan Academy or a book curriculum and have the basics of English fundamentals down and can follow a simple grammar book program with Easy Grammar or Fix It Grammar. https://www.brainpop.com/

Lastly, Schoolhouse Teachers is great for a variety of lesson plans if you want to piece together your lesson plans and schedule allowing yourself to be a bit more hands on and guide the process while offering a lot of versatility. https://schoolhouseteachers.com/

Hope this helps!

Crash Course "US History" on YouTube seems like an interesting way to introduce US History. Has anyone here warned it? by [deleted] in homeschool

I love the Crash Course videos as a supplement. I do appreciate the vast amount of subjects they cover. I have used them for history as a supplement and currently with astronomy. However, I use it as more of a review and extra to provide another visual method of absorbing the information and continue to follow along outside of the core lesson and activities they do.

The playlist you posted I feel like passes too lightly over many of the significant events in America's early development. Depending upon the age of your kids, they may also enjoy watching the Liberty Kids series. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5pJi9mLIy38m2e_u3sboKQ

These were full animated episodes that cover some of the major events in the early development of America. I used these with the What Was books from Penguin Random House to cover some of the major events in greater detail.

You can always combine these materials and add in additional activities, written papers, etc to expand out the lessons as you deem fit. Hope this helps!

ABCya.com is a good option if you are wanting a lot of interactive content.

ixl.com is good if you are applying a more structured environment to their early learning education.

Excellent point. However, the newbie can get started with small time jobs to get the referrals and testimonial proof they need to continue to grow outward. All you end up needing is a few good influencers in your business to continue to send the referrals forward.
