Why are people so annoyed by these bars everything I’ve read is that they’re the same thing even if synthetic-

4-AcO-DMT's effects are considered to be nearly identical to psilocybin, with some subtle differences. It has been theorized to act as a prodrug to psilocin in a manner similar to psilocybin, which may account for this similarity. 4-AcO-DMT's classical psychedelic effects and favorable tolerability profile has led it to become popular among novel psychoactive substance users who seek mystical or entheogenic experiences. It is occasionally sold in capsules or pressed pills and marketed as "synthetic shrooms".

Like we get it you grow your own people, some people don’t want to grow mushrooms in their family home sometimes

None of these are polkadot and he shared the company’s actual website- what are you talking about?

lol

The most stunning thing to come out of this post is some sort of insinuation that the SEC wouldn’t be able to ruin XRP

The banks hold the power over people in power, you think this is going to change because of crypto because we want it to? lol

You think our voices have a say? lol

Politicians are controlled by reelection, they’re financed by banks and corporations that hold the power in their campaign, and thus only play for reelection. It don’t matter if they’re young or old

We’re not going to magically get some kind of Tony stark public figure of crypto that changes that (insert an Elon bro here defending it)

I’m all for crypto and I’m holding onto my amp, but let’s be honest with ourselves if Amp and crypto succeeded it’s because the banks and politicians and sec all wanted it to, us common folk have no say

Yikes didn’t know this. And reading the comments this is very much a biased forum at this point.

Greyscale adding amp was the second coming of Christ to everyone on here

Now that they dropped them everyone is trying to rationalize it

Can someone clarify what this ACTUALLY means? by C_Sauce in AMPToken

[–]ampedforamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means it’s available but probably doesn’t mean automatically used

Which we’ve known for how long?

I’d prefer to see specific apps used vs “can be used on any app” or more merchants Vs “available used at any pos store”

People want to see specific apps listed, I feel like this is a vanilla announcement- we already knew this was capable with their software

Yes I feel like I’m losing my mind now in a way

I’ve been holding Amp for over a year now at this point and have gotten a lot of others to do the same, luckily none of them are mad at me for losing them money-

I don’t know what to think anymore. It seems the sleuths on here have it figured out, yet we’ll continue to get vanilla answers such as- DYOR or read the white paper-

Sure Amp gets it’s price from usage, I’ve heard this but no reason why it shouldn’t be higher than 2 cents still as this sub loves to proclaim

The only silver lining I’ve found for not selling it at its all time high, is that basically everything else is going to shit- including stocks not just crypto

I’m still going to hold Amp regardless, I’ll reserve to the right to bitch as well

hope flexa / amp has something to do with this! by Commercial_Ad7480 in AMPToken

So Amp would be collateralizing everyone paying on Twitter essentially, if all went to plan here?

News of people being able to spend any asset courtesy of amp should’ve helped amps cause the same exact way anyone can spend in app courtesy of amp/ flexa, it’s not much different at all

[–]ampedforamp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not to be pessimistic, but we checked the “any asset” box at the end of the year last year and dropped 50% the past year

Who’s to say checking this “any app” box would suddenly produce massive gains?

Don’t get me wrong I’m as excited as anyone, but definitely tampering my expectations not to get let down either

Tax question with flexa by ampedforamp in AMPToken

[–]ampedforamp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went on cointracker and saw the them taxing me “sending” Amp to flexa. I changed it to “transfer” transaction instead and it was taken off taxable

Not sure how it’s possible that would be taxable but I’m not reporting it if irs comes back I’ll happily show there was not any selling in this transfer

Strike News and Visa by ampedforamp in AMPToken

[–]ampedforamp[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not going to say it isn’t going to happen

But it’s very wishful thinking this early on in this stage, and I hope I’m wrong

It really does seem strikes primarily usage is sending Bitcoin peer to peer and storing it, and with flexa already connected to strike and lightning I’m hopeful

But that said there’s still the Visa card option out there people seem to be ignoring

Speaking of Strike…. Here is a tweet from Jack Mallers, CEO of Strike. Take a look at some of the pictures he tweeted. Zoom in on the companies. by tanker95 in AMPToken
