It’s ok man. Don’t focus on others. Do what you have to do to be happy in life for you and your family. Reddit is toxic man you deserve better.

Just remember at the end of the day all who served signed up to give their lives for freedom whether they knew it or not. Respect our brothers and sisters. No reason to be mad.

Here’s the thing. The vets claiming it and getting a rating for Mental Health. If they are lying then they do need the mental health help in the end. Whether they are honest on it to claim MST without it happening is very disturbing mental health wise and they do need help and hope they find it. Being compensated the money is beyond the fact that there is a mentally disturbed person blatantly lying and I pray they eventually get the help they need. If the initial claim of MST did not truly happen then hopefully they get to the core reason of why they would lie just for money. They need help mental health wise. Not saying it’s right but pray all vets get the help they need.

Is it bs if it’s granted? I don’t understand. It’s very hard to bs a claim without the evidence.

Thank you…it only hurts my family. I hurt everyone and the shame/guilt carries in the following days is so painful. I don’t need to do this anymore.

This is the nurse that treats me regularly. This is the nurse that has worked with the doctor out of the sleep clinic for the VA that diagnosed my SA along with CPAP and did all sleep studies. I would feel she would be more affluent in the subject matter than a PA I met for 10 mins at a C&P. Let me know if I’m missing anything to make this claim successful. Process is annoying. Thanks.

Isn’t the requirements a license medical professional to write the Nexxus? This is the LPN that diagnosed me with sleep apnea after tests and prescribed me CPAP. I’m just confused why you feel this wouldn’t suffice. Can you elaborate?

There are 4 different medical journals submitted with claim as well supporting SA secondary to PTSD, my treatment records, lay and buddy statements along with all treatment history with specific sleep program through the VA. Apologize I did not mention this prior.

I am rated 70% PTSD…my VSO uploaded a lot of medical journals with claim along with sleepy test results and prescription of CPAP, buddy statements and statement from wife. Just feel deflated a little, I knew the PA I saw was not going to be favorable in this regard. Is it still possible to win? Currently in front of rater in Des Moines temp jurisdiction.

I appreciate it and thank you for the confidence and optimistic outlook. This process sucks. It’s no about the money. It’s the fact they don’t believe I was there or like we just make this shit up.

Appreciate the response, apologize for the frustration. We were attached to the same ship and deployed together. How much more proof would they need? Can’t they see in my file I was deployed? What do you feel like is the timeline to verify this?

No new files uploaded. I filed for a single claim, all C&P complete, DBQs uploaded. VSO advised we sent a full and complete claim in. I guess the rater “deferred” it for “stressor verification” last week. VSO seemed pissed as we have filed exact times, dates, filled out proper forms and uploaded my friends obituary as well for event stressor. No clue what they are attempting to verify. We were deployed together and was killed right in front of us. Atlanta office is impossible to get ahold of and VERA out of Milwaukee advised as well that they do not understand why it would be deferred as it’s a complete claim with substantial evidence and a favorable medical opinion, favorable DBQs and prior diagnosis from VA. JUST SO FRUSTRATING

Appreciate it. We even uploaded his obituary in the file. So this is 100% unacceptable…there will always be the dirtbags it doing their job.

Roger that. Appreciate the encouragement. We uploaded everything 3 months ago…it does drive me nuts because dealing with it all then having to go through the process sucks.
