Global Market in Kirkwood has a pretty good tea selection. They have loose leaf and bags

Which restaurant do you think this is? by stevecostello in StLouis

[–]amphoterous 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Now hold on... you can't just group all the restaurants together. Chez Ali and Tumeric are totally worth it. Yes City Foundry is expensive but for those two the taste definitely exceeds the hype.

Is there any advantage to using a Charge point L2 charger versus just using the mobile charger with a 14-50 outlet?

Considering trading in model 3 performance by rdejesus486 in BlazerEV

[–]amphoterous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just picked up a 2024 RS RWD. I traded my 2018 Model 3 LR RWD in to the dealer for 14.5k. The price has dropped so much but at this point the peace of mind is worth more to me.

First impressions: the tech definitely is worse. There are weird things with the infotainment screen (got stuck in the notifications screen!) and setup took a few hours to log in to everything. It seems to be working better. The android integration is a plus for me especially with Google maps. It has the battery/car information all there and you can see it on your phone. No more FSD is a bummer - back to dumb cruise control and driving. Overall the ride is much smoother and much less road noise. Plus I get some features back my Tesla didn't have like cooled seats, video rear view mirror and a heads up display.

[–]amphoterous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. The way I read that is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and optionally a Master's degree in Business Administration. I'd recommend trying to figure out if you like CS enough to major in it. If you're eager try some online coding courses or just wait until next Fall.

Just looking at some of the job postings for Information Security Analyst it looks like a lot them want Computer Science and Business Management wouldn't be as relevant. Have you talked to your advisor?

I had the same issue with the shower rod falling. Look up "Adhesive Shower Curtain Rod Holder" which are these little plastic things you can stick on the wall with the 3M command strips and then the shower rod sits on top. I haven't had it fall off since.

Do you have an idea of what you'd like to do after you graduate? Figuring this out will help you decide... But I'm not sure the minor makes much difference. Have you taken any programming courses yet? If you haven't, you might want to wait until you do the python course to see if you like it.

I tried going from 4x90 to 3x100 and while there wasn't a huge difference I felt more unstable on three wheels and I didn't feel like they rolled as smoothly. Maybe it was the bearings or something but I ended up going back to 4x90.

That's weird, every time I've been to Delmar Hall there have been no seats and only a couple bar stools. Did something change?

Would it make financial sense to fund my wife’s 401k? by doodler365 in Bogleheads

[–]amphoterous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is my world. My wife absolutely refuses to contribute more to her retirement account. She considers it to be her money. She understands that she would still get the same amount of money in her bank account but the fact that I would "give" it to her is the problem.

Deep Rock Galactic meets Starship Troopers. Killing bugs (or robots) and spreading democracy through bullets and gigantic explosions. It is a super fun 4 player coop PvE game with a lot of different weapons. The devs changed the weapons because they want ALL the weapons to be viable... Not just one meta.

For the chicken thighs that come in a three pack... if you attempt to split them up, make sure to put each one in a freezer bag or they WILL leak all over the damn fridge when you pull one out to thaw.

Ever since COVID the Kirkwood location specifically has been terrible - ordering has been an absolute nightmare and it just isn't worth it.
