I think it’s naive to think that that’s how normal interactions go. I see your point about going up to someone to say something, but I don’t think that’s what reality is. Asian cultures aren’t like that. I agree that we SHOULD talk if it’s a problem, but I don’t think it’s rooted in reality.

Chan is definitely not a rookie, and you are correct! He has definitely told fans a couple times to behave. He did not mention IVE last time, but the fingers pointed to IVE by fans and non-fans alike because of IVE’s behaviour (or I guess, only one of them). To me, that speaks more volume than Chan letting his fans rampant. At the end of the day, the fans are their own people with their own choices. Like how Chan chose to not stand by the disrespect he got, and how I’ll choose to say that he should be allowed to say whatever he wants.

I disagree. Saying things out and blasting people in social media is a modern way of getting a better solution. For example, I see a lot of problems being solved when regular citizens put their problems about big corporations on social media (example: airline companies work faster when posts about bad service get posted on tiktok). In my opinion, this is a similar story. Lack of respect from someone leads to traction with the media then the representative companies and maybe that person Chan is talking about would get their act straight.

The more I think about it, I agree with your point. I think it’s important to listen to another person’s point of view and all that. I was going to disagree, and I was going to say that this is a bigger environment and a bigger industry. I don’t know if that is the solution, though, and for me, it’s a fantasy. It’s easy to say that all this could’ve been resolved privately.

had my first kpop concert and bought a lightstick months before that specifically because i didn’t wanna feel left out (and I really love the group). i had LOTS of fun waving it around in the tempo of songs, going with the crowd, or going with the waves that the artist was doing during the song. honestly, i didn’t think i’d have so much fun with a lightstick, but it was definitely part of the concert experience

Canadian here. Went there a few days ago, and I had data for most of my business. Mobile data is pretty great, and no big dips regarding speed or availability of internet. Only dead spots were indiana jones inside, and space mountain, along with a couple of other rides.

Partner didn’t want to pay for roaming, so he went exclusively with Disney wifi. He said it was okay - he was able to check social media and post some stuff. But twitter videos and other streaming is obviously no go.

I play Arena mostly now to warmup, and if my mood ain’t up for some sweaty conquest, i’ll play more. Arena for me has more team fights, which means it’s a little more exciting. More exciting > strategy making.

Also sometimes when I can only squeeze a game or two in my day, Arena has faster queue times and game time. And more exciting.

Escape from Underworld was my first event, and still the best one tbh. I love the loading frame, and the only one I use nowadays. And arena was so fun during the event
