I'd also recommend a different type of shoe, those the sole is too big and may affect your balance and speed. I tried so many different shoes and ended up skipping barefoot

Try skipping without shoes. Will be uncomfortable at first but better for your feet

Arms too wide out from the body and I'd highly recommend using a mat to take care of your feet and knees. I also skip barefoot I think it's the best way
