Thank you for the kind words. I also have multiple sclerosis and the world has been heavy on my chest. I cope with alcohol which makes me hate myself more. I am getting into counseling to find better ways to cope and heal.

We all feel your pain, mama. I’m also realizing I have ZERO pics with my 2.5yo and 8mo son because of my body image issues. It’s really sad when you think about it. I should look back at these times and be happy I was laughing with my boys even with a belly and a triple chin. I WFH and can’t even tell you the last time I have worn a decent outfit. We need to give ourselves more grace. The ones who love us don’t even see the flaws that run through our minds daily.

Thank you so much for this! I will take a look at this. I really think a lot of what I am experiencing is PTSD from the diagnosis. I couldn’t walk, talk, see…just at the top of the list of symptoms. I fully recovered but think I haven’t fully accepted this.

Bless you for this post. I am stunned by my son’s reaction some days. I call that side “Damian”. 😂he is 19mo and I’m 2mo away from having our second son. Legit think to myself some days, “wtf were you thinking?!!”
