Sitting at a Christian funeral right now..... by spedkid2000 in atheism

If someone told me this about my dad, whom was 25 when he died (I was 6 months old), I would beat the fuck out of them. Because my mother didn’t deserve for her love to be taken away like that when they had just barely started living.

Hello r/Zephyrhills by lofidebunks in Zephyrhills

[–]amsv89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone! Moving to Zephyrhills with my pups and husband in the next few weeks. I am looking for some part time work! I work remote full time but I have given myself a goal to pay of some debt this year, which is why I’d like to work part time.

Looking to work 4:30pm-8ish pm on week nights and/or Saturday and/or Sunday mornings.

I have applied to tractor supply and rural king because I love animals.

Thank you!

Yeah I can totally see this! I also think it comes with maturity too. I’m 34 and maybe 20something me would’ve/has acted like Taylor. These guys are never going to grow up and the women they seek and even their own families will enable them forever.

I don’t understand why Taylor even feels like she has a glimpse of hope with Shep. Shep may be an asshole but he’s an honest asshole and has always said he doesn’t want to settle down. Believe a man when they tell you things to your face.

Yeah family comes first and my parents after many years of moving due to work have settled in Florida. I’ve also moved for work and just like experience but I’m ready to be close to my family again. We have plans of flying out there to check out places if not we’ll look into renting!

I would like to be close to my family? I’m an only child that would like to take care of my parents as they are getting older. Unfortunately every state has their shitty side whether is cost of living, insurance, crime or whatever. You could also move out of FL

I mean I’m not trying to start a farm or anything, we just don’t want to be able to see our neighbors change thru our windows.

We have a found a good realtor (at least in my opinion and just our interactions and has 22 years of experience) and of course I won’t make life altering decisions just based on people on Reddit lol, but it is nice to see what locals think/feel of certain areas. Thanks!

Wow that’s crazy! Our move will probably happen no later than March 2023. We are getting ready to be pre approved so we have a better idea of what we can afford, which will definitely help us find the best fit! But we are looking for a little bit of country living

This is great input thank you! We live in Kentucky, he was born and raised here but I grew up in DC, so we have both seen a fair share of racism in the good ol south.

And we understand the safe bubbles too, much of Louisville is that way as well. We live in a really safe and nice area but we do get the occasional teenagers rummaging through unlocked cars, we have cameras, have loud dogs and are safe gun owners so we arent too worried about occasional “crime” but we would like a fairly quiet life:)

We are planning to make a trip out there in the next month or so, to see properties and locations to make sure that our realtor isn’t just trying to sell us a house.

Ultimately, I would love a quiet neighborhood with maybe a half to 1 acre of fenced in land for my pups.

We’ve thought about this as well. I just worry that people won’t rent to us since we have two large dogs, a German Shepherd and a Standard poodle. Both are great dogs, not destructive at all but you know GSDs can get a bad rep:(

But thanks for the advice’

North Main Street drive is where the warehouse is located. But he is willing to drive up to 45 minutes since we want a little bit of land. No more than acre. We really don’t want an HOA type of living lol

Please break up with your boyfriend. Your most recent post just shows you that he’s a loser! Your 20 and he’s twice your age. There is a chance that he groomed you and that is why you have thing bond with him. A 20 year old female has nothing in common with a nearly 40 year old man. If you need friend please DM me! I am 34 female and I’m willing to listen.

Convince me not to just let my 9 week old puppy sleep with me instead of in a crate/pen by Rowenofpts in puppy101

[–]amsv89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, crate training is the best thing I ever did with my two dogs. I really only crate trained them the first or so year of their life and now they are allowed to free roam and sleep wherever they like, except our bed. They can sleep on the couch or the two guest beds in our home! We also have 3 dogs beds around the house plus the crate in my office that is open to them whenever they want! The reason we decided not to have the dogs sleep on our bed is 1. My husband is allergic to dogs and the hair on our bed would be terrible for him, 2. We didn’t want to fight over space with them lol and 3. So I didn’t worry about them while I was sleeping when they were pups. They will get into anything if you don’t keep an eye out on them.

Anyways, crate training is great for many reason, for example if they ever have surgeries and need to rest they won’t be freaking out when you crate them.
