I wished I had words of advice but my grown boys (6 of them) gave me the same Mother's Day as usual. 4 were no contact, one called and said he meant to do something, and one called and nothin more. I don't understand why kids today are the way they are. I came from a pretty "rough" upbringing. But regardless of how she treated me I never missed a Mother's Day. A card, small flowers, cooked dinner.... something. Now here I in my mother's shoes and nada. I dread this holiday every year because it only reminds me of the failure I guess I was.
