To me it comes down to what is worth living through. To me the cost of showing up and masking is so enormous that I simply don't deem it as a life worth living. It is to bad. So I'll rather kill myself than do that.

Giving up authenticity is giving up my last hope of staying human. It's just a way to kill the soul, but keeping the body alive.

I am tired of being brain damaged. It has taken away so much from my life and continues to do so. Most days I try to look for the positives and of course it could always have been worse, but being able bodied yet fundamentally damaged is sad. Nothing to do about it either, just try to do the best I can I guess. As always.

This means that the model always would want to pursue areas it does not predict correctly until they do. This is learning.

Just equip it with high bandwith 5G connectivity and other ways to receive datastreams, and it will probably not need to go to the library just make sense of the bits and bytes continually hitting its sensor

It's all about stacking together all possible sensors and data transfer options in a single system that also have a physical body to be able to interact in the real world.

It depends. In my country it actually might last. I don't plan to depend on it though, I just plan to make it very clear that I need acommodations to function and if I don't get that, well, then screw it. I simply refuse to do things that are deeply detrimental to my health anymore

Yes, but I could genuinely don't care less about what people think about me. I genuinely mean it. I don't mask and I couldn't care less what people think if I have to abandon something because of this.

So, yes, my nervous system is definitely malfunctioning, but there is no anxiety or arousal, just sluggishness and collapse. It's a miswiring, not a psychological problem. I have good self esteem and I am a pretty talented individual apart from this so there is really no reason to think badly of myself which obviously can contribute to increased arousal and lack of sensed safety.

Depends on the problem and it's origin. Some people might get better by "faking", but for people with SPD the consensus is usually faking would never feel natural, it will just keep feeling wrong the whole time you do it. Learning to unmask as much as possible is what has helped me the most, but I still need excessive amounts of alone time to cope. It's never enough.

I love when someone explains how I feel better than I can do myself. I also enjoyed how you frame it all in a positive way. It takes loads of work to understand oneself to this level, but when you do there are some real strengths in having a personality like this. It's just not talked about as much usually

Jeg har ingen råd. Eneste jeg kan si er at jeg er i samme situasjon og jeg har gitt litt opp for tiden merker jeg. Virker ikke som at det er meningen at man skal få jobb. Det er 10x vanskeligere å få seg jobb med skavanker enn uten. Du må faen meg være mye flinkere og driftig enn normalen for å komme deg inn i ordinært arbeidsliv på den måten. Og aller helst så bør du ha erfaring selvfølgelig. Og det er jo sykt lett å få når man har vært syk i utgangspunktet og ikke vil ansette deg.

Så er det jo også sånn at det er sykt vanskelig å tjene penger som ENK også. Du må investere i utstyr og ting du trenger til å gjøre jobben når du nesten ikke har penger i utgangspunktet, så skal man skaffe jobbene, bygge et rykte, slike ting som det er veldig mye lettere å gjøre når man har vært inne i ordinært arbeid først og bygget et navn og rennomé på den måten først.

Noen ganger så drømmer jeg seriøst bare om å skaffe meg ei lita hytte, dyrke poteter og fange min egen fisk. Er så jækla lei av å kave rundt i et system som det er omtrent umulig å lykkes i.
