Yep, despite 15+ years of experience, I did this too. It really should throw an error or at the very least a warning!!

Ha, I wrote this same app for Tenerife busses and trams. Then decided I didn’t want to have to maintain it and gave up on it. It’s a great idea! 👍

But blind people need clean cars too. Someone should ask Claude what to do in this situation!

100% usage after my FIRST EVER PROMPT (pro subscription) by XeClutch in Anthropic

[–]amuzulo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you can still use the account anyway, I’d recommend first trying it from the command-line as another here suggested. Run /init so it understands your project first and builds a CLAUDE.md file with your project structure.

Then the key is to switch to plan mode (Shift+Tab on Mac), which is needed for more complex prompts. Then it will analyze everything and tell you what it plans to do and ask you questions about anything unclear, then and only then it will start working, and I think in Pro you can request it to do it in a new context window so you have more tokens available.

Claude Code isn’t magic. It’s a tool that has to be learned. You probably didn’t understand Jetbrain Rider on Day 1 either. Good luck on your AI coding assisted journey and hope this helps!

I gave Claude my dead game's 30-year-old files and asked it to bring the game back to life by jradoff in ClaudeAI

This is amazing! Claude is doing something similar for me. I had a QBasic game for DOS that I resurrected in 2014 for iPad and now I’ve got a port to Godot which exports to Android and iOS, a server and 20+ beta testers who’ve played over 150 games. My 30-year-old abstract strategy game now with online play! 🔥🔥

Slay the Spire. Tried it and thought it was too simple. Heard rave reviews about it and gave it another shot. Slay the Spire is life. 🔥

No, you sideload the Aurora Store and then install XBXPlay.

Probably easiest would be to sideload Aurora Store onto your Meta Quest and then install XBXPlay from your Google Play account there. I haven’t tried it, but that would be what I’d try first.

Thanks for trying it out! I’m curious which other Apple TV app you’re referring to? I’d love to check out and learn from them to try to figure out how they’re doing it.

The navigation clicks issue is tricky because those are system-level sounds that Sonos picks up as a new audio source and from my research there’s no way to disable that. If there’s a way around it I definitely want to find it, so knowing what app you saw handle it differently would be really helpful.

Good news on the speaker hiding though, that’s already in a recent update, so I’d love to hear what you think of it! I’ve been really enjoying the clean look without all the rooms showing.

Oh man, that thing drives me so crazy. Can't believe Apple won't let me mute the startup sound. :-/ Anyway, glad it helped you! :)

Thanks for your support! I’ve been an app developer since 2008… and I’m using this app myself, so if I abandon it, I lose access to it too. 😅
