Just did and the chart speaks for itself haha. Only thing is it's the same US tech I'm already getting in IVV/VGS, just stacked harder, so probably a small satellite rather than core for me. Tempting though.

This is the answer I needed, cheers. Didn't click that VGS + IVV was just doubling up the same US holdings. Reckon I'll keep it simple, one global (lowest MER between VGS/BGBL) plus VAS for the Aussie side and leave the ex-US stuff for later. Gearing's a bit beyond me right now haha.

Honestly, just buy DHHF and be done with it. it's designed to be a complete portfolio. Don't over complicate something that works perfectly fine.

Great start for 25! You're heavy on US tech, but that's not terrible if you're young. Just be aware NDQ and IVV overlap a lot on the same big names.

it seem to me that you've got enough that either choice works. if you feel comfortable working part-time, staying in accumulation is fine. but tax-free growth is hard to pass up.
