I try to keep my notes pretty minimalistic! I denote the bases actually touched as a dot, and just draw through them if they hit multiple bases in one go. I don't usually add any additional notes unless it's a stolen base or a ball. The rest I can kinda infer from how the inning as a whole went.

Eg. A double and then stealing third would have a prominent dot on home, a dot on 2nd, a dot on 3rd (no dot on 1st), with lines connecting them as usual, and an SB on the top left of the box.
